I am infinitely grateful for the opportunity to read this Peruvian anthology; it is a true emotional delight. I am moved by the feeling of so much in every word it contains. The way each writer narrates and describes their experiences allows the reader to feel them deeply. I fully agree with the writer and poet Áurea Altamirano that our roots are very deep, that our experiences mark us for life. And it is precisely this that strengthens us, that drives us to constantly strive for that emotional freedom. This poetry collection is felt on every page. Personally, I loved "Volver a mi tierra" by Áurea Altamirano Cuaresma, as it emphasizes a profound reflection on my own roots. I currently live in a different country, with different customs, and it's not easy to find oneself in such a vast and crowded space. Still, there's always something inside me that connects me to my homeland, that strengthens me… because, no matter where we go, "it's always inside you."

"Mariposa de fuego como lo señala la misma autora es un recorrido en el que una niña, una chica, una mujer se levanta, tomando fuerzas de flaqueza y levanta la cabeza para seguir adelante en un mundo complicado, indiferente y hasta traumático para un alma sensible. Nadie como Áurea para conocerse, interpretarse y expresar de una manera tan clara, transparente y sin rubores aquellas situaciones que nos marcaron- a todas de alguna manera nos ha pasado sentirnos invisibles- desde los primeros pasos en nuestra vida, aquellas situaciones que a veces no comprendimos por su dureza y hostilidad; pero que hemos superado haciéndonos la promesa de continuar y cumplir sueños. Luego, está la muerte, un tema que nos presenta en el poemario de manera recurrente, desde pequeños la vemos rondando, pero es la partida de un ser querido, en este caso el padre, la que deja una huella como una estela de dolor que la autora perpetúa en su descendencia y vienen los “hubiera” los reproches, pero también los aprendizajes para no repetirlos. Aparece también la muerte en casos que afectan a nuestra sociedad peruana como los feminicidios y la muerte de la fertilidad. Finalmente, disfruté mucho los últimos poemas en los que se busca la identidad, comprender de dónde venimos, tratar de conocernos mejor, entender lo que hicimos hasta este momento y por qué lo hicimos, aunque hay un tanto de pesimismo en varios de ellos, al final la autora se reconoce y se valora, tratando de dejar un mensaje a otras niñas, chicas, mujeres; y así te reconocemos, querida ÁUREA, con toda la gramática: “Como algo tan precioso, como el oro mismo"
